What have you been doing?

Well I haven't posted in a while. I guess I could blame it on being too busy, but that is just not the case. I've been out and about.

I Graduated May 7th.


When I got home among other things to do, (like mow the lawn twice a week), I new I had to get a new (to me) car.

I couldn't get just any car. I wanted a car that was cool like this Model A


I also wanted something fast like this 2005 Porsche Carrera.


Plus I needed it to be cheap like my old 1984 Ford Thunderbird. (I paid $50 bucks for that car)


The compromise was the new to me, 1995 Chevy Camaro. With only 100K on it and a friend of a friend price tag, I just couldn't resist it. Good thing Iowa has one of the lowest gas prices plus it does get 29 mpg on the highway.

  • It is really shiny. Maybe that is why i liked it. I guess all i need now is a name for it.

  • I always name my cars after wives of Henry VIII. Maybe you should go with something more like chitty chitty bang bang.

  • No, Christina, I think it is black like Zuke.

    I don't think you would have gotten good gas mileage with the Model T or the Porsche, but they would have been fun anyway.

    Congrats on graduating, the job, and the new car!
