Enjoy that movie

What an interesting month. At first it seemed like I was King Midas, but instead of everything turning to gold it all turned to @%#@$ (oh sorry for the typo, I meant to say) everything turned to mud. First it was my car. The radiator sprung I leak (I think). Yes, it is still busted because I don't have the time or money to fix it. Then my computer broke. The power supply went kaput and in return 10% of my hard drive decided to go bad. I lost about four weeks of senior design work. Putting in the double digit hours to get back on track has been loads of fun. No more complaining. I just wish graduation was both farther away and over.


Now for the title of this post. "Enjoy that movie" is a message to whom ever it is that is stealing the blockbuster movies I rent online. Currently blockbuster’s version of netflicks is having a free two week trial. So I said what the heck, and signed up. These movies that are sent to me via regular US mail. They come in bright yellow envelopes. About half of the movies that are sent to me are intercepted by someone before they get to me. I only received the address label with no DVD. If it is a movie the person likes, he keeps it. All nerdy titles like LOTR, Stargate, and Alien vs. predator are taken. Movies like Manchurian candidate and Ray pass through no problem. The idea of a nerd thief cracks me up. Oh, don't worry I’m not responsible for the "lost" or "stolen" DVDs. I just thought I would share the story.

  • Ah i guess the hopes for a after graduation post have subsided. However the next post still will be after graduation.............um congrats!
